Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Storeshot. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. The service
Storeshot is a tool that takes raw mobile-app screenshots you upload, processes them with generative AI, and produces marketing-ready App Store and Google Play screenshots framed inside a phone or tablet mockup. You can use the free tier (3 generations per device) without an account. To generate beyond that, you sign in and purchase credits.
2. Accounts
To purchase credits and save projects you must sign in with a Google account. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We rely on Google for authentication; we don't store passwords. One person, one account — don't share credentials.
3. Credits and projects
- Credits are one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions. They do not auto-renew.
- 1 credit = 1 generated screenshot. A batch of 5 source images costs 5 credits. Each per-tile regenerate also costs 1 credit.
- Credits never expire while your account is active.
- Credits are non-refundable once spent. If you experience a clearly faulty generation (the service errored or returned a blank/garbage output), email support@storeshot.co within 7 days and we will refund the credit at our discretion.
- Project caps are tied to the highest tier you've purchased. Buying Starter raises the cap to 3 projects; Pro raises it to 7. Multiple purchases of the same tier add credits but don't stack the project cap.
- We don't guarantee any specific output quality. AI generation is non-deterministic and the result is influenced by the input screenshot, the chosen mode, and the model's state at request time.
4. Refunds
We don't offer refunds for unused credits or change-of-mind purchases. We may, at our sole discretion, refund a purchase if there's a clear product defect (e.g. payment was charged but credits were never granted). Email support@storeshot.co with your payment receipt or order number.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload screenshots of content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, including child sexual abuse material, content promoting violence or self-harm, or content infringing intellectual property you don't own.
- Attempt to circumvent the credit system, free-tier limits, or project caps (e.g. by clearing browser fingerprints across many devices to abuse free tiers en masse).
- Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it programmatically, or build a competing product on top of our API.
- Use the service to generate misleading App Store / Google Play assets for apps you don't have permission to market.
- Spam, abuse, harass, or DoS the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity. In flagrant cases, no refund will be issued.
6. Your content, your rights
You retain all rights to the screenshots you upload. By uploading a screenshot, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it through Google's generative AI services and store the resulting generated output against your account so we can deliver the service to you. We do not claim ownership of either your input or your output. You are free to use generated screenshots commercially in your App Store or Google Play listings.
You represent that you have the right to upload the screenshots — i.e. that you own or are licensed to share the content shown on the screen.
7. Our intellectual property
The Storeshot brand, logo, codebase, prompts, and product design are ours. You can't copy them, rebrand the service, or claim it as your own work. Generated screenshots are yours; everything else running the product is ours.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The product may be down for maintenance, due to a third-party provider outage (Google, Supabase, our payment provider, Vercel), or because we're actively shipping changes. We will not be liable for downtime, missed deadlines, or lost generations resulting from outages — though if a generation request errored after a credit was deducted, contact support and we'll refund the credit.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated images may occasionally contain artifacts, misspell text, or otherwise miss the mark — review every output before submitting it to a store listing.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storeshot's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities — even if we've been advised of the possibility.
11. Changes to the service or terms
We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may revise these Terms; the “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change. If a revision materially affects your rights, we'll notify you (in-product or by email). Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy, Section 7). We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; previously-granted credits and projects may be deleted.
